During our daughter’s time at Live and Kicking she has managed to make great friends and has been looked after really well. The staff have alweays been totally professional in their approach and have ensured both Abigail’s and the rest of the children’s safety is paramount.
Live and Kicking are flexible and support families in their need to drop off at 7.30am and stay open until 6pm which we have found to be invaluable in our busy work lives. The meals are ok and keep Abigail going until later on in the evening until a bedtime snack is the order of the day. We would certainly recommend Fiona and the team to all prospective parents as our experience has been totally positive with no issues during Abigail’s 7 year stay.
My time at Live and Kicking was amazing and I loved it there! When I left Live and Kicking I was really sad to leave as they have looked after me since I was only 4 years old. I have made some great friends during my time there.
I have found the meals were okay and have kept me active until later in the evening.
My favourite part of Live and Kicking was going to ‘Crocy Trail’. It was really great fun and I had the best day ever. They go on a trip every week during the summer holidays and I have found them all real fun.
I would certainly recommend Live and Kicking to anyone as I’m sure that your child will get looked after with care and have lots of fun.
As a parent and working mum I always feel assured that the staff at Live and Kicking are responsible and reliable with my daughter when she is in their care.
On one occasion I was held up in traffic and was in a panic to get to Live and Kicking to collect my daughter before it shut. I contacted them to explain my dilemna and was reassured by Fiona that they would stay with my daughter until I could get there, telling me not tot worry ‘these things happen’.
My daughter’s experience is always positive. She has found the staff very caring and friendly. Whenever I collect her she is always laughing and smiling – playing one game or another with the other children and staff. I have had no concerns only asssurances whilst my daugheter has been attending Live and kicking and would like to say to any parent who maybe seeking childcare that if they want peace of mind and a ‘happy child’ then Live and Kicking will give them this.
It is a very sad time for me to see my daughter leave Live and Kicking.
The after school care is second to none, and I am tearful that she is leaving.
My daughter has loved her years coming to the club as so did my son.
I have always felt that Fiona, Kelly and Gemma have treated my daughter as well as they would have their own children. Some new staff have joined recently but straight away you feel as though you know them all on a personal level. Its one big happy team!
For me I know that whilst I was at work my daughter was being cared for in a fun, friendly environment. They helped her with her homework, made her evenings fun, but also the discipline is there if required.
100% professional, caring and enthusiaistic.

Live and Kicking continues to provide excellent childcare for my children. They love it here and are always reluctant to go home. My children’s school does not provide before or after school provision.
Live and Kicking have high standards of behaviour and all the staff engage in positive relationships with all children. I have never had any cause for concern in the 5 years I have used this excellent service.

I send my daughter Alicia to Live and Kicking after school as I work full time and cannot pick her up from school. It is great that she gets an evening meal here, as otherwise she wouldn’t be eating until 6.30pm. I think the service is great and the staff who work here are fantastic and go beyond the call of duty to make the children’s time both fun and educational. The staff are very friendly and fun.

I am very happy with the care my children receive from the Live and Kicking staff. They attend morning and afternoon sessions, and occasional holiday days. The staff are all friendly and approachable and my children are fond of all of them. They are well fed and offered a variety of different activities throughout the week. I also like the fact that Live and Kicking operate a walking bus because, although its only a short walk to school, it still provides some of their daily exercise. Fiona has been accommodating and as helpful as possible, particularly when my youngest child had two weeks of half days when starting school.

Convenient, friendly and professional childcare service. Makes going to work easier, knowing your child is in safe and caring hands. Bailey loves spending time at Live and Kicking. I have never heard him complain about being there as you have so many fun activities to do.

Our daughter attended Live and Kicking for 3 years and was very sad to have to leave when we relocated to the South. I have to say that the afterschool and holiday club facilities were truly outstanding – and we really didn’t appreciate just what a fantastic service the Live and Kicking team provided until we tried to find somewhere similar in the South. I can honestly say that nothing compares. Our daughter made lots of friends and had lots of fun in a structured environment and the whole family still miss the team very much.
We chose Live and Kicking for our son as they offered exactly what we were looking for, convenience, brilliant caring staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Our son didn’t know anyone at Live and Kicking or at this school but soon he made fiends and now fits in really well helping new children settle in. Our son says ‘wonderful, fabulous, Live and Kicking has the best staff ever!’

My daughter started this term at Live and Kicking. She settled in straight away and is given quality, expert care from all the staff, they always have time to chat and listen. I love the range of activities available to the children which provides fun and educational childcare. I like all the age groups of children playing together. Isabelle enjoys the company of older children which is provided at Live and Kicking. The older children are very caring to the younger ones. I am more than happy leaving mu daughter, knowing she will be cared for by such a great team of people.

My son has been going to Live and Kicking for 4 years and this year my daughter joined. the club is very professional, personal to individual needs and most of all my children have fun. many activities take place, Games, Arts and Crafts, Rounders and outdoor activities in summer. The club also offers help with homework, spelling and reading for the older children. the staff are excellent role models and I feel my children are safe, secure and well looked after. the staff also have their daily ‘Star of the day, where they pick a child who has been recognised in the day for good behaviour. My two love it when they are picked out and come home proud as punch! I would recommend Live and Kicking to any parents. They get 10/10 from me!

My little girl just loves attending Live and Kicking, so much so that she doesn’t like coming home! The staff are all absolutely fabulous. Its well organised and a very happy atmosphere all the time. I would definitely recommend Live and Kicking. They do regular activities with all the children, my little girl especially loves the face painting day. The food is well balanced and there is always ‘seconds’ available for those who want it. My little girl and I are very happy with Live and Kicking!
