Meet the Team

Fiona Wilson - Senior Manager

Residing in the Blackburn area, Fiona has worked for many years in the childcare sector. Fiona is qualified in the following: NVQ Level 4 in Childcare and Education, Level 2 in Playwork, Essential First Aid, Food Safety, Investors in People Award and Child Protection. She holds an array of Health and Safety certificates and has also gained the Makaton qualification in Sign Language. Fiona has completed her Level 4 in childcare; meeting the Early Years Professional standards for OFSTED regulations in Childcare.

Fiona is also the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) at Live and Kicking.

Kelly - Deputy Manager

Kelly has been a part of the team since we opened our doors in 2003. Kelly is qualified in the following; Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ in Early Years Care and Education Practice, both First Aid and Food Safety and has completed the Level 1 in British Sign Language. She also holds a Diploma in Early Years Childcare. Kelly is also an NVQ Childcare Assessor and holds the A1 Assessing qualification in Childcare.

Kelly is currently on maternity leave.

Elisa - Playworker

Elisa joined us in January 2008. NVQ Level 3 in childcare. She has qualifications in Food Safety, First Aid, Creativity on a Shoe String, Puppets as Props for Communication. Elisa is is working towards her British Sign Language Level 1 qualification.

Gemma - Playworker

Gemma joined us in October 2007. NVQ Level 3 in childcare. Gemma has qualifications in First Aid, Health and Safety, Risk Assessment and Sign Language.

Craig - Playworker

Craig joined us in January 2008. NVQ Level 2 in childcare. Craig has qualifications in First Aid, Risk Assessment, Food Safety and British Sign Language Level 1. Craig is now working towards his NVQ Level 3 qualification.

Fiona - Playworker

Fiona joined us in September 2008. Fiona has recently gained qualifications in First Aid, Food Safety and British Sign language Level 1. Fiona has recently gained her NVQ Level 3 qualification.
